Two new actors before camera for 'Setayesh' sequel

Two new actors have joined the cast of 'Setayesh' sequel currently at the shooting stage.

The shooting for the latest season of ifilm popular series 'Setayesh' is currently underway in Iranian northern city of Ramsar with Shahrouz Ebrahimi and Akram Mohammadi joining the cast.

The series shooting stage will continue till the end of the Persian calendar year ending in March 2019.

Third sequel to famous Iranian series ‘Setayesh’ is in development with the presence of key cast in previous installments.

Narges Mohammadi stars as the female lead in the original ‘Setayesh' alongside veteran Iranian actor Daryoush Arjmand.

A plot summary for ‘Setayesh’ season 1 reads, “Taher has just finished two years of military service, defending Iran against Saddam Hussein's war of aggression. His friend, who's deserted the frontline, wants Taher to help smuggle him out of the country.”

Despite his better judgment, and at the insistence of his friend's sister, Setayesh, he agrees. Taher and Setayesh eventually grow fond of each other and make plans to marry. But a tragedy causes a great gap between their families that threatens to keep the two from ever finding happiness together.

The latest season is based a new story line with a mix of mini-stories narrating the social aspects of characters in the plot.
